Welcome to ShopDog Turnery

Molly and I enjoy our time in the shop. Initially, long before Molly came to live with us, I made things because we could not afford to buy finished items -- early graduate student chic you might say.

Now I make things for the joy of the making. I am careful to use only sustainable woods and food safe finishes for everything I make.

If you find something you like you will eventually be able to purchase it here, but for now just drop me an email, or give a call and we can work it out.

If you find something that triggers your creative juices, so much the better; I cn and will make custom turnings using wood important to you or inlaying an important object in a custom turning.

If you live in the Piedmont of North Carolina, and would like to learn to turn, give me a call and we will set up a lesson or lessons.
