I have found Mercury CA products to be superior to others when used with wood. It was originally designed for the wooden model airplane market and thus has as bonding wood its original purpose.

While all CA is pretty noxious in use, especially when heated, as happens when sanding, I have found Mercury to be marginally less so. For those particularly sensitive to the odor, I recommend the Lo Odor / Foam Friendly formulation. It is quite a bit more expensive, but I have had users tell me it has helped with their ability to tolerate the fumes.
