M5T Thin, M300M Medium, and M1100G Gap Filling Viscosity

DESCRIPTION: Mercury M5T Instant and M300M Medium are very low (M5T) and medium (M300M) viscosity cyanoacrylates and were developed for demanding high speed wicking applications. Both have excellent adhesion and cure speed on difficult to bond plastics and rubbers and contaminated or acidic surfaces. M1100G Instant is a thick gap filling viscosity that bonds to a wide variety of materials including wood, paper, cardboard, leather, fabrics, etc. Bond times vary according to the substrates being bonded but are generally faster than normal super glues.

APPLICATIONS

• M5T - High performance wicking and bonding of close-fitting parts including: plastics, rubbers, metal, wood, leather, fabric and composites to themselves or in various combinations.

• M300M - High performance wicking and bonding of close-fitting parts including: plastics, rubbers, metal, wood, leather, fabric and composites to themselves or in various combinations.

• M1100G - Typical applications include wood trim on furniture, balsa wood bonding for hobbyists, leather accessories on shoes, fabric bows on shoes and lampshade bonding. Other features include versatile bonding of most elastomers, metals and plastics.

• On elastomer bonding and some plastics residues or release agents on surfaces should be removed by solvent wipe

M100XF High Performance ARF CA

DESCRIPTION: M100XF is the result of nearly 2 years of lab work by Mercury Chemists. This work has resulted in a formulation that is among the fastest, strongest and highest quality ever available. M100XF is formulated with Mercury proprietary ingredients that make it a great choice for tough to bond substrates. M100XF is a 100 cps and sets in 5 to 15 seconds and has minimal gap filling qualities and excellent wetting out features.

M100F and M1000F Low Odor/Foam Friendly

AVAILABLE SIZES: 10GRAM, 1oz

DESCRIPTION: M100F and M1000F are Foam Compatible, low odor and lower to medium (Ma00F) and medium to gap filling (M1000F) viscosity cyanoacrylates that provide a “low bloom” cure on plastics and other materials.

APPLICATIONS: Normally used where cosmetic requirements dictate an invisible bond without the problem of whitening or blooming. Can also be used on various foams and costume jewelry fabrication where fine, close up work dictates the use of a low odor, more user friendly product. Always test on your substrate before use to assure compatibility and remember less is more when applying.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES:

M68DB Debonder

AVAILABLE SIZES: 2oz pump

DESCRIPTION: Mercury M68DB is a debonder especially formulated for Mercury CA adhesives. It is a clear liquid with a relatively low evaporation rate that attacks and dissolves cured or uncured Instant Superglue (cyanoacrylate).

APPLICATIONS: Can be used to debond misaligned parts or clean up excess adhesive. It also is useful for removing spilled adhesives from work area. Debonds accidentally bonded skin.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES:

• Mercury M68DB Debonder works best under repeated applications rather than one excessively large application

• Apply debonder, allow it to dissolve hardened superglue and repeat as necessary

MH16 Accelerator

AVAILABLE SIZES: 2oz pump, 8oz Refill, 12oz Aerosol Can (at select locations)

DESCRIPTION: Mercury MH16 is a General Activator accelerator. It is ozone friendly and used for normal curing of cyanoacrylates, depositing a correct balance of neutralizing ions on the surface, stimulating attrition for the adhesive and preparing the surface for bonding.

APPLICATIONS: Mercury MH16 is primarily designed for fast cure of thick deposits or for post curing outside the bond line. MH16 prevents absorption of the lower viscosity superglues into porous items. MH16 helps bridge gaps which decrease polymerization time.

USEFUL HINTS/NOTES:

• Mercury MH16 can be used to speed cure by brushing or spraying onto the surface

• Applying drop wise, the superglue and then over spraying to cure fillets such as on wire tacking jobs

• Works best under repeated applications rather than one excessively large application.

• Use in an inconspicuous area for testing

• May attack certain plastics and remove paint or varnish.

Epoxy 5, 15 & 30 Min

AVAILABLE SIZES: 8oz kit

DESCRIPTION: Mercury Epoxy Contains one 4 oz. Bottle of Resin and one 4 oz. Bottle of Hardener. Epoxy has the advantage of quick setting even in small amounts at low temperatures..

APPLICATIONS: Great at bonding wood and nearly all other types of materials. It achieves its great strength as a result of a chemical reaction when mixed with the Hardening agent and does not shrink
